3/31/2025 Emergency Preparedness Program
On 3/31/2025 , Age Friendly Saco partnered with Dyer Library to bring the final session of our Emergency Preparedness sessions for Older Adults. Thirty two members from our community participated and a lot of great information was presented by our panelists. Joe Moreshead , Community Connector from Age Friendly Saco, served as moderator for the panelists. Our panel included: Sophie Smith from the Dyer Library, Chief Hamel for the Fire Department, Rebecca Lyons from the Police Department, Ryan Sommers from Saco Parks and Recreation and Andrew Dickinson from the Communications Department.
All participating members left with a “ go bag “ as well as important information on what to do in the event of an emergency.
