When you join our Volunteer team, we can find just the right fit for you. Here are some Volunteer Opportunities:
- Office Worker – office coverage during the work week.
- Food Delivery Driver – deliver food boxes the first Thursday morning of each month. Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Sand Bucket Deliveries – fill and deliver sand buckets.
- Handy Neighbor or Technology Neighbor – lend a hand as part of our Handy Neighbor Program performing simple home maintenance tasks or our Technology Neighbor Program assisting older adults with technology.
- Medical Appointment Transportation Driver – drive residents aged 60+ to their medical appointments in the Greater Saco Area.
- Pilot or Safety Rider for the VolunteerCHAT – provide “CHAT” e-bicycle rides to residents in senior living facilities, or act as a safety rider on those scheduled rides.
- Event Worker – volunteer at Age Friendly sponsored events.
- Fundraising – volunteer stuffing annual appeal envelops or working on other fundraising opportunities as they arise.
- Community Luncheon Worker – work as wait staff at the AFS monthly luncheon, including table set up and clean up.
